DIY Landscape Lighting (EVERYTHING ABOUT LOW VOLTAGE TRANSFORMERS)

Hi there lightning dr, hope I could get some advice on the size of the transformer along with the wire size as well. I’m planning to run to paths 1st is about 250ft and the second is about 120ft. I was planning to purchase 1 transformer “600w” do you think this would be enough for two runs? Or should I buy two for have it run independently? Greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance.

Very informative site. I have a question. I would like blue and green lights for upward on trees. Where can I find just these two colors?

Green and red are very common and we can special order them from www.lightingdoctor.ca blue requires a special RGB fixture which can be very costly. Also keep in mind adding colour will dramatically effect the brightness of the fixtures

Hi enjoy your channel learning a lot…. So I have a Home Depot landscape system…..that uses qty 2 - 20W Halogen MR11 Bulbs, (6) 10W Halogen T3 Bulb using a 120w transformer Need your help on which LED to use? I’m actually thinking on getting my yard professionally done but u decided Thanks in advance for your input
