He mentioned that the Air assist always needs too long to start cooling. Is that true? Did you also have these issues with the Polar? Greetings Alex

This looks awesome! I'm just getting into lasering and I'm psyched! I have an idea to finish 'em off for super-resilience outdoors. I shoot automotive clear coat with a little minigun with a small compressor for car work, and though costly to buy up front it goes a long way. That stuff bonds to filler materials and paints really well so I bet it would work to super-seal outdoor signs, especially on the edges. It is not like cheapo spray can sealers - that stuff will last forever.

Hi guys! New to the channel and in the process of installing my new 50W OmTech CO2 unit. Just watched your set-up vid from 8 months ago. Very instructive - THANKS!! Couple of things I'm wondering about though. 1) Per OmTech: "Your inline fan should match the flow rate with the internal exhaust fans (100CFM) if you’re leaving the internal fans in place to prevent back currenting into the mainboard. Alternatively, you can remove the internal exhaust fan altogether, but do not exceed 600 CFM as this could affect the accuracy of the laser motion system." You used a massive Harbor Freight dust collector blower for the exhaust. If it's the same one they currently sell, it's rated 660CFM. Did you disconnect the internal fan "to prevent back currenting into the mainboard," or have you experienced any accuracy issues using the big blower? 2) The air assist upgrade looks like a great idea, but I question the use of a shop compressor. My artist friends use oilless compressors for air brush work because they provide cleaner air. Have you noticed any problems resulting from the use of the shop compressor?
