I just want to make sure I get enough lights, is this 2 strips of 16.4" 300 LED lights on one ring?
@DaBesDiva6 жыл бұрын
On mzjourney ring light video, I can’t tell how are you attaching the led lights around the styrofoam ring.
@mzjourney6 жыл бұрын
DaBesDiva, The led lights are tape lights, so they have a sticky backing. You just peel and stick them to the surface.

Hello I'm going to try your method .....I was wondering did u have to cut any strips to make them go around with no bulking
@mzjourney7 жыл бұрын
Roshandra Crossgrove , no I used the entire 2 packs. I started out laying them closest to the inner rim, and I made sure to not leave any space between rows (laying them as close as possible without overlapping them)Let me know how it turns out! Good luck 😉
@BeyondSideshow6 жыл бұрын
It's very nice! But does the reflective silver tape actually play any part in the outcome?
@mzjourney6 жыл бұрын
BeyondSideshow , it just gives the lights a reflective surface to bounce off of creating a brighter light. I’m sure it would work great without the silver tape just slightly dimmer.
@BeyondSideshow6 жыл бұрын
mzjourney - yeah. just asking because it kind of looks like the led tape covered up all the silver in the front.. i will experiment. thank again for a great vid!

How did you connect the two strips
@mzjourney7 жыл бұрын
Glen Byrd , There is a small clear connector clip that comes with the lights. You just place the end of the 1st set of lights and the beginning of the 2nd set of lights inside the clip and press down to close. Thats it! (I forgot to mention in the vid sorry😐)
@vp52027 жыл бұрын
I think you can wrap the entire thing with butter paper to spread out the light further, it will smooth out the light more.
@GotGood776 жыл бұрын
I wish you would have shown how you wrapped the lights around at least just a lil bit
@mzjourney6 жыл бұрын
Bonnie Bonèt , you just stick them on. Starting from the inner side of the ring. Continue taping the lights in a circular pattern (your just taping in a circle making sure that each layer is close to the last) hope that makes sense 😬
@dianaseverns46076 жыл бұрын
Best ring light I’ve seen but I’m confused as to why the tape is on back , how did the lights stick , glue? And what do you use for stand? Instructions are hard to follow
@mzjourney6 жыл бұрын
diana severns , Thank you. The lights are sticky on the back just like tape so they stick to whatever surface you put them on. I used a tripod to hold the light up. I just laid it up against the arm of the tripod. Hope this helps 😉
