I was thinking I should have done two separate videos. Maybe I'll release the Y adapter portion as a separate video down the road. The lights really turned out great.

Digging it. Looking forward to the 2nd battery vid. Just ordered a rear view camera set up so that’s next on my install list. But lights look pretty killer. Especially the fade option.

Not sure if you have ever seen them but for my s73 I bought 2 led strips for the rear chain stays, they have a solid colour running light ( several options available) and a scroll flashing turn signal in Amber, throw on a simple 3 way switch and you have an awesome rear light and turn signal in 2 small strips, and the best bit fully waterproof and under $10

Nice job man, I think you did great work and as always your "how to" is laid out nicely for anyone else who cares to try. Got my handlebar jack on the way!;) Oh, got my wife's brakes swapped out they squeak like I did nothing. Only thing I can think to do at this point is swap out her rotors.
@SESSIONS733 жыл бұрын
Ugh, that stinks about the brakes. I am sorry. Mine are still going strong with the swap. Have you tried sanding the pads down just a little bit? I am going to try a to fix a friend's brakes who did the swap too. He's pretty frustrated.
@50scap33 жыл бұрын
@@SESSIONS73 I initially tried some of that paste it's super gritty and I think at first it helped for 5 minutes might try some of that again it seems to grit up the pads and the rotor surface I applied it pretty sparingly the first time may be time to get a little aggressive. :)

hey man ive made a diy splitter but the light only flashes for a second when the bike turns on then it doesn't ever light anymore. the brake light also turns off too. did you happen to have this issue too? I've been troubleshooting and if I use the splitter and only the brake light it works but the second the led strips go in it turns off.

I was planning on it. I will have to remove my ammo can that holds my lock, which kind of bums me out. I was also thinking of doing it reverse the stock battery, but with the LED lights, I need that Rockbros bag to hold all the cables. Anyway, we'll be battery twins. Didn't get the Ranger GT though. Your tip on locking the battery was helpful. It's a bummer how you found out though. Glad everything is OK.

I know this video is a few months old but I’m really hoping you can still respond since I’m in need of some help. I have the lectric xp and the connectors for head/taillight is a 2! pin connector. I already made a Y system as you did but 2 pin. I have the Govee led kit that has 3 wires just like yours Black, Red, Blue. However I was wondering if you know how I can attach the blue wire since my lights do not power up with just the red and black connected.

Do they come on when you squeeze your brakes? There's a brake wire you can snip (check previous comments) or add them to your headlight.
