Good job mate. I have heard some bad reports of lesser capacity from Litto kala cells, often overstating capacity. Daly BMS only has the passive balancing & are a bit low end, try a JK BMS with 2A active balancing & a nice BT app as well next time you build a battery, they work well. I was glad to see the Daly cut the discharge at 2.8v (if it had not already risen), there is virtually nothing left at this stage and going down to 2.5v/cell is only prematurely aging the cells, as is going over 3.55v/cell. Thanks for the comment👍 this is my first battery using the not so smart Daly bms. I agree that it was a good thing to cut the charge and discharge at the voltages it did, however, If I had a BT controlled bms, I could have set the parameters to do a full capacity test of the battery. Anyway the battery works fine👌🏻 thank you. Really nice inputs👍

4x 25ah cells for 90 dollars... seems decent compared to some "deals" I found. Ordered some as a joke before and nothing came. Figured I would get a joke card or picture of the battery, but I got an overused "tracking" link scammers used to fool customers into wasting more time looking for their package instead of their refund. The seller is no longer on the platform, but honestly they probably just made a new account.

Yeah I’ve been there. Just need to stay away from the «to good to be true» deals. As they most likely are just that..

I understand why people do it, but having the same color cable for something polarity sensitive is a huge mistake… put red shrink wrap or red tape at least. That’s why batteries explode, people hooked something up wrong. Doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen. Most often it will melt off the insulation and/or cause a fire. It’s just not a good idea to use the same cable color for everything.

Thanks for the comment👍 I think a big red cable for positive and a black cable for negative is enough for this application. But red and black shrink tubing would be best👌

@@JonasSyver the cables sticking out of that box were both black, without redoing the video, you can’t change that fact. Not ideal in a polarity sensitive situation.
