actually the plants need quite a lot of airflow which isn't provided in the lightbulb

You could also use a lightbulb jar for this if you're not comfortable with messing with light bulbs/want an easier alternative. I've seen them at Michael's and online. They're just little jars shaped like light bulbs ^^

We have a shell shop (which sells shells and she'll based accessories of course) and I saw some of these plants for sale along with some shells where you could place them inside of the shell, I thought it was really cool and now I know what to do with the extra shells that are to big for my hermit crabs :P

Neneref Air plants are a type of plant that requires only small amounts of water since they get their nutrients from the air. I got these plants online. You can google air plants to see if there are any in a local shop.
