I love this idea. This one has added lights which would be so cool to add in the kids room with their first letter of their name.

When you cut corners do you add length? These are cool. Sign people call these channel letters. My grandson makes Freddy Five Night characters out of cardboard.

I prefer to connect side panels away from the corner. It is easier to connect flat panels and corner is more solid. Here is another video on a 1.40min kzbin.info/www/bejne/iau6d39pd79sqLc

I need to make a laundry hamper with three sections and a lid, could it be done with cardboard?
@ReuseandPlay3 жыл бұрын
I think you can make a lot out of cardboard. Most of modern furniture made out of pressed/glued cardboard or wood scraps. I do homemade cardboard furniture too. All trick is finishing. You may want to check my blog page to learn more reuseandplay.com/category/cardboard-furniture/

Wow amazing, where do you buy your cardboard from?
@ReuseandPlay3 жыл бұрын
Personally I don't buy it. I reuse cardboard boxes. Amazon boxes, moving boxes, sign boxes from the local print shop ect. But you can get cardboard boards in art store like Michaels or Dollarama

This is perfect!!!!! Where you be getting the card board from? And where'd you get the glue gun?

Hi, I usually reuse cardboard boxes. For giant numbers and letters I was lucky to get some sign boxes from the local print shop. Other people buy cardboard boards from art store (like Michaels) or Dollarama. Glue gun and big pack of glue are from Amazon

How many pieces of cardboard is needed and how big are these numbers
@ReuseandPlay3 жыл бұрын
it depends what cardboard you have. Generally you want to cut two solid pieces for front, they are 26.5in in this video and sides could be made from scraps. Usually I reuse boxes. You can try treasure hunting in a local sign or bike shop they do have big flax boxes 😁

Where can I purchase the glue gun?
@ReuseandPlay3 жыл бұрын
literally amost any dollar store has small ones. Smal heat gun is cheap and nice option for small and medium projects. Amazon has a great variety of glue guns too. My last gun has a narrow nozzle and full size glue sticks it gives you more precision and longer time without reheating
