i like it but you didnt show how you got the light in there or what did you use to tie around the glass before you put the crystals around it or anything. A lot of detailwas missing, but nice! I would love to have these at my weddiing bu i have no idea what to do after the decor.

You just place the led lights inside the glass underneath the water beads... very simple and easy to do... I hope that helped you out some... and congrats! on your future wedding :-)

Celena Selmon, I believe she placed a rubber band around the glass before applying the mod podge. I don't know what was in the bowl or bag. I couldn't tell if it was crushed faux glass beads and silver glitter. I would like to know where these items could be purchased. I didn't even see her place in LED lights! Are the LED lights water proof? So beautiful, but still curious myself!! 🤔

They are beautiful. I am new to decorating things like this. Are those real flowers or artificial. When you use water beads, do you have to soak them in water? Can you use them dry with artificial flowers. Also the crushed glass fillers, are they glass or mirror?

Thank you! :-) The pink roses are artificial, the water beads must be soak in order to turn into a marble type form but after the bead swell you don't have to saturate them in water anymore it should stay if you put very little water in a container to keep them preserved but if you completely remove all water it will shrink back to its tiny size again.... the crushed glass are little tiny mirrors and glass but they do coat the glass so it doesn't injure you while using it.

MrRobwm... If your using Mod Podge alittle dish liquid and water should remove the remaining Mod Podge just be careful not to wipe the surface that's decorated :-)

I love this idea.....but I'm going for a beach theme. Thinking maybe I'll try a two layer using sand and crystals, then a filler with the light and the water crystals, and use small florals and shells. For the ribbon, I'll go with a turquoise or aqua and glue on a starfish instead of a gem......thoughts?
