So nice to see you back, and perfect timing because we just bought an old farmhouse from the 1920s and even though our styles are different, I get inspiration and motivation just by seeing the work you put into your home! The style we are going for is trying to be as true to the house so a 20s craftsman style and I’m doing a lot of Thrifting to find furniture pieces… but I’m definitely on the same page as you with all the calming colors!

In response to your question, for myself, I don't really follow any particular style: I'm more about finding pieces that I particularly like, and kind of stick them all together, whether they're the same style or not. I'm probably more towards the vintage or antique end of the spectrum, just because I never really buy brand new furnishings, and over here in Europe there's a lot of second-hand furniture.... However, you were wondering whether people joined your channel because you were doing Boho to begin with, so I wanted to explain that for me, what I've always liked about your channel is that you do all the work yourself, making do with what you have on hand, and not necessarily buying the high-end brand new things... and also I love that no matter what you do, you achieve a very harmonious outcome! Plus, another reason I love your channel is that you, as a person, come across as very warm and welcoming, and you seem to build a real rapport with your viewers! I loveeee the walls! It is art in and of itself. I am in no way a DIYer. Is there such a thing as ready mixed lime wash mix? I’m getting “Tuscany” vibes from the walls with large clay vessels gauzy curtains and comfortable seating. I also love the philosophy of Wabi Sabi and embracing imperfection. Because of you I was able to kinda figure out my style. Your sweet disposition shows on camera and your space reflects a calmness and maturity that only going through a personal purification can provide. I really loove the look of limewash but id read somewhere that it has to be redone regularly and can wipe off etc....im not sure if thats true but i have 2 small kids so i havent looked to do anything yet just in case 😂

Hi🫶🏽❤️This is a diy lime wash technique it does not wipe off. I’ve done 2 other rooms like this, it’s an affordable option and does last! I’ve used regular lime wash 2 times and that does wipe off. It’s kind of like a clay mixed with paint. So it requires like a top coat as well
