DIY MACKENZIE CHILD LAMP SHADE🐑🖤/ DECORATE MY KITCHEN COUNTER

I bought this lamp shade , and didn’t care for the color of the shade. Instead of returning it, I thought, hmm? What if I am paint it to match my MacKenzie Child decor that I have. 🐑🖤🐑 to my surprise it painted of nicely w it h regular latex paint. It took me about 20-30 minutes to finish it out. I taped off the stripes, and etched the stripes in gold, lightly. It totally turned out so cute. You could do this with any color to match your kitchen. You can add a 40 watt bulb and the bounce back of the glow at the bottom of cabinets will be more subtle.

I also decorate with heavily. I’ve tried having less but I always feel like my “friends “ are missing. 🤣 I really enjoy my things and keeping my home. I like homes styled like yours.
