This is great. Worked out beautiful. I used a 3mm cord because that is what I could find. The knots tighten a bit too much, but it still works. Cats will need to get used to the swinging of it. Thank you so much for your talent :)

What did you use to hang it on the wall to make sure it could support the weight of your cat?

As you can see in the video, I did not hang this hammock on the wall. it was hanging from a ceiling mount. but you can also hang it against the wall on a reliable hook screwed into the wall with a dowel. Thank you for watching ❤

yes, 5mm would also look good. but the consumption of the cord will increase slightly due to the change in thickness. so cut the cords a little longer. I think you can add 0.5 m to my values

Hi I was wondering if you had a written pattern too? I looked on etsy already but I have a hard time following videos like this one haha it is so fast and I am a crocheter, macrame is brand new to me and this will kost likely be my only project and I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I'm sure the pace you keep throughout is great for those that know what they are doing but it is too fast for me😅 a written pattern or even a few tips would help so much!
