DIY Make a bug net for your hammock

That open hammock/bugnet with an ultralight tarp would be an ideal hot weather setup. Combined with the removable spreader bar idea you can make it a lot more packable. We are in for 42-48C weather tomorrow so I will be setting my Helsdon up and doing some hot weather testing. I have a couple of bug nets; one is designed to tie to a tarp and then connect to a bathtub ground sheet; the other is just a net I'll play with. Great video, some great inspiration. Tag!

Nicely done. I finished making my diy bridge hammock and was looking for bug netting ideas . I'm going to give yours a go.

Sorry, I did not weigh it before I gave it away, but I would guess 150 - 200 grams.
