Thanks the beautiful video 🤩👌👍 Your voice is good but somehow, I donno, the music is so hard and loud that it hurt the ears. Your words can't be heard.

make your frame stronger by dropping heavy wire or straightened paper clip as an armature before adding remaining cement

Glad I found this channel. Your cement frame came out beautifully from the mould, although smaller than expected lol. It’s perfect, spot on perfection! Thank you for the great painting tips and the wonderful tutorial. If you wouldn’t mind, in future videos please turn the volume of the music way down or even better, no music at all. I watched this video to learn from your amazing techniques. It’s incredibly important to hear your voice, your thought process, your instructions, your descriptions, your products, what to use and what not to use etc. Aside from this I truly enjoyed and appreciated the video ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but the background music is so loud. It makes it difficult to understand everything you're saying. Can you reduce the volume level to hear your voice in future videos? BTW, I enjoyed the information I could follow on this video. Thank you.

Great tutorial! Also very easy. :) Can I use this for big full-length mirror frames? Or will it get too heavy to hang on the wall?

I love your frame, it turned out perfectly from the mould. Did you use cement from the hardware shop or some other type, like jewellery cement or something? I've just subscribed to your channel and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. There's one thing though that I want to ask you - could you possibly turn the music off during the videos? I hope you don't mind me asking but I can't hear your voice with the music on as well. Thanks sweetie, love from Amanda Jones in Australia

It’s quite small in size. If you’re thinking of making a bigger one you could use plaster of Paris instead of cement

If I remember correctly this is from a local store.. but Amazon anda many other sites that sell baking related product have tons of options. Try searching ‘fondant mould’

Thanks for sharing. The mold u used is too tiny. If we want to make large frame then where to get large mold?
@Auriflamme
@Auriflamme 3 жыл бұрын
The bigger the frame the more support you need, meaning an inner wooden frame which holds the outer moulding. Secondly there's a limit to how large a silicone mould can be and still give you a stable moulding. Beyond a certain size it will have to be custom-made. Your best bet is to search Amazon or similar for silicone frame moulds.

How would you attach it to a canvas painting?
@AllThingsHandcrafted
@AllThingsHandcrafted 3 жыл бұрын
Some super glue could do the trick I guess :)
@Auriflamme
@Auriflamme 3 жыл бұрын
You would need to attach the moulding to a simple wooden frame. The wooden frame will hold the canvas. Do not glue anything to a canvas. Plaster of Paris would be much better for this than cement as material for the moulding. You can place pegs into the plaster while it's still wet, which can then slot into corresponding holes you drill into the wooden frame. The whole thing can then be glued onto the wooden frame with white glue.
