DIY - Making A Leather Watch Cuff / Band

My father has this watch for many years now. But the band broke few weeks ago. So he asked me to make him a new leather watch band.
He wanted something close to a bracer rather than a simple watch band he could buy in any store. That's what I came up with.

Love what you did with the Hublot you have given me some idea to do with mine as I've always hated the rubber strap that it came with and although it also came with a leather one as well it just fails to do the watch its self justice.

You should consider making some other designs. I see the cuff did not look straight on where the two pieces would meet up, giving it a sort of off-center type of look/feel. Maybe consider some more fancier designs now, scales, additional rivets, adjustable watch bands etc. Videos like that seem to be lacking and you have a decent video. The child pounding everything but the awl or whatever was a funny touch. Good video. I rate it a perfect 5/7... :D
