why work it when it has cooled? forging should be done at 900-1000°C in order to avoid cracks

My dude is gonna have to resharpen after every 3rd knife bc he didn't harden the steel. also, supposed to burn the grain of the wood, not the whole thing. then again, i haven't made anything, so it looks and works better than mine.

You don’t just burn the grain… you burn the whole thing and sand away the char. What you’re left with is darker grains and lighter surface

Good work my only suggestion would be to harden the chisel as you lost the manufacturing hardness when heating the blade. But all in all well done
