Just found your channel! Love it!!!! So, you were saying you wanted some light blue earrings, just take a set of buttons you already love and get some sculpey mold maker. Make a mold of the buttons and then use some polymer clay in the color of blue that you want and make yourself a light blue set of earrings. The great thing is you can mix a blue to exactly match your sweater.

Hi, Most of the vintage earrings I've found are actually clip-ons. You could find clip-on earrings bases at a craft or bead store and use those instead of posts.

What type of cutters do you use? I bought wire cutters but they leave huge numbs of the shank, making it impossible to sand, file down to make earrings.

Hi 🙂 I love your button earrings project. Does the epoxy glue you're using work well with metal?

Yes it does! Sorry for the late reply! I haven't had any break in over 3 years or so, using them for earring studs. Most of these buttons were plastic, but I do use this glue to convert damaged clip on earrings which normally have a metal back on them. Thanks for watching.

Of course! I used a gorilla glue epoxy - it comes in two tubes that squeeze out at the same time, then you mix it. www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Epoxy-Minute-ounce-Syringe/dp/B01M7VD07W. I have also used the gel super glue too, www.amazon.com/Gorilla-7700108-2-Pack-Super-Clear/dp/B07MWR845K, but I like the epoxy best. :-) Thanks for watching!
