Of the many parts of this video I enjoy, the best is watching you use some of your hold downs and star knobs to hold down and secure your workpieces!

Geweldig!

I'm always fascinated when someone applies glue with their finger. This will probably be a professional, because I, an amateur, apply glue in my carpentry shop using anything but my finger.

I’m a retired carpenter. I always apply glue with my finger. You can feel the thickness and any dry spots.

I typically apply glue with silicon brush, but I enjoy peeling dried glue mixed with saw dust off my fingers.

Nicely done! It may have taken a bit of time to make them, but it sure beats paying an arm and leg for the aluminum hold downs! Again, great job!

Why do you not finish these lovely pieces by hiding the metal nut with a different colored wooden washer.

Most joiners are missing some fingers, then according to your video they wouldn't be able to glue the parts to the clamps.
