Llevo años viendo fabricar herramientas de bricolaje para tarugos de madera, pero sin duda, la tuya, es la mejor que he visto hasta ahora.

Nice work. Really comes in handy for joining. I nearly have all parts laying around. I probably make 2 of them with different size holes for smaller dowles. 👍

Dennis, you speak of the space under your benchtop as being a spot to rest 'in use' tools, so not putting drawers in there, but what about pull-out slides, or drawers with no sides and only a minimal front, so you can see what's in/on there and put away, as well as retreiving any 'accidentally dropped' items?

Muchas gracias porcompartir. Queria saber que pegamento se usa para metal madesra?

Thanks for watching!I use a multipurpose adhesive for wood, metal, rubber, etc. If you don't have one, I think a metal one would be fine. However, since no load is placed on the pipe, it may be suitable for woodworking.

Where can you find an 8.6 pipe with the same outer diameter?

Thanks for watching!I bought it at a nearby home center.

This is a really great idea Once I bought a knock off Kreg pocket hole jig. The tube for the drill bit wore out quickly. I'm pretty sure a good jig will use hardened metal. I don't know about this jig and would it suffer the same problem. I wonder if these bits of metal pipe could be heated with a torch and then quenched. I'll bet they wouldn't need annealing but that could be done in a home oven.
