I had a problem with tarnished contacts in the battery screwdriver. I moved the battery out a bit and the screwdriver worked. So it's not always the fault of the electronics!!!

Mine has an aditional bleu wire on the back of the trigger device. I took it apart and cant seem to find were the bleu one is fitting. Do you have any idea?

The blue wire is the ground terminal it probably wouldn't do anything ig you dont connect it but in either case it should fit and tough the I dont know what you call it the big metal case ring here is a link to the manual where everything goes just scroll down to page 24 just look for the earth terminal and you should be able to figure out where it lives hope it works maklta.com.ua/userfiles/_pdf_sm/DTD152-WW.pdf

Hi Diablo In my Makita impact driver ,, there is a blue wire as well with trigger with little kind of ring . I don’t know where it will connect?? Please advise. Thanks

Came across your vid searching for an answer to my Makita XDT14z not powering on after I dropped it. I have no power, no lights, no battery indicator lights, etc. Tried multiple fully charged batteries. Any thoughts you can suggest?

I would suggest to open it and check the wire connections inside probably went loose when you dropped it hope it works

Is it possible to repair the trigger instead of replacing it ? I'm probably going to be replacing it soon but it would be handy to know
