DIY Marble Round Table for $6

How to make this DIY Marble-look side table for only $6. This is a simple project to give an old table a face lift. I will show you how to DIY this project for a round table.
I used $3 rolls of contact paper from Kmart (Australia). Here are some Amazon links for some options with a more realistic marble pattern.

Quay Neil thanks very much. I wouldn’t put the contact paper down unless you have a completely flat surface, you don’t want any chance for air bubbles to exist, they will ruin the look. Better to at least do a surface prep by either gluing some type of thin layer like maybe cardstock then put the contact over that. If you have some basic woodwork skills you could glue a piece of thin plywood or MDF on the top then contact that. Good luck!

This looks great. I've bought some vinyl contact paper to do mine soon. What type of cutting tool did you use on the sides? It looks neater than folding the excess underneath the sides of the table.

WhyCee just a scalpel to get a clean cut on the bottom edge. Don’t fold it underneath for sure.
