The beep sound is from your smoke/carbon monoxide alarm. The alarm has a battery in it and needs to be changed even if it's hardwired in case your electricity goes out, the battery takes over.

Hi Josie, love your touch on decorating!! We as well have hardwired smoke alarms. There is a 9 volt battery in them for backup when power is out. You need to change them like you would with a regular battery operated smoke alarm. You would think with power they wouldn't have batteries but they do in case of an outage. Hi Shelly! We actually fixed it because of a comment just like this. It turns out it was the battery. Thank you 🥰 it doesn’t make sense that it goes bad if it wasn’t used. But whatever 😭

What is an edger? 😩

@@JosieWilliams316 it’s a painters tool that helps paint the edges straight intead of having to do it with a brush. You just put it in the paint and against the trim or ceiling and glide it across. It’s like $5 on Amazon or Home Depot has it too

We used it when we painted our kids room. My hubby saw it and it was intrigued he says it was definitely worth it.

I've been wanting to paint my walls so bad but its such a huge project! It took us like 2 weeks to finish Brielle's pink wall 😅 The paint makes the room look so much brighter and bigger!

Honestly, you did great with the size of rug because it's over a carpeted area. I have carpet on my stairs and the entire upstairs floor and I also have a rug that is a 5 ×7 under my bed. I also just wanted the look of a rug under the bed and not for the rug to take up the entire room . ( our room is a bit smaller than yours as well.) And I did watch a video where they gave advice on how to style your rug under the bed if you have carpet and they actually said that a smaller rug is ok since you're just going for the look of a rug under the bed and not necessarily for your feet to touch the rug as you get out of bed like you would with hard floors. I did though buy a new bigger rug now because we are getting rid of all the carpet on the stairs and upper floor completely. So I just wanted a larger rug for when we do that. Awesome video! Your home has really come together. I love modern farmhouse as well and our home is a mix of that, rustic and industrial. 🥰❤️

My smoke detectors were beeping for a few years and I just learned to ignore it but when I addressed it . I found out there were expired. Even though smoke detectors are hard wired they all need to be replaced every 10 years. Please look into this.

I had to comment again as I just now finished the video 😂😂😂 OMG!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! you both did an AMAZING job putting it together! I literally just splurged on a new bed that has a huge headboard as well. Almost the same style just in grey . We already have a queen sized bed and mattress and all so just got the new bed as the old one is 13 years old (although you wouldn't think it's that old if you saw it lol). I cannot WAIT for it to come cuz I ordered some new decor and furniture pieces to go along with it for a whole new vibe! Absolutely love this girl! Beautiful! I cannot wait for part two!!!
