Very impressive! I recently purchased an old home in a good neighborhood and it needs a lot of work. At first I was like what I got myself into. But after seeing your projects I was really motivated to do most of the work myself.

What kind of red cedar boards did you use? looks like some sort of 1x6 double sandwich? How about mirror mounting, you said both sides? Or just the outside has the mirror?
@VinnyGjokaj5 жыл бұрын
Hey yeah!! I used 1x6 red cedar boards and on the front and the back, and I sandwiched a 1/4" sheet of red cedar board between the 1x6 boards and on the 1x4" I siliconed down the mirrors on the front and the back!

What hardware did you use to mount the mirrors into the door?
@VinnyGjokaj5 жыл бұрын
Hey Luther! For the door I made a sandwich essentially, I sandwhiched 1/4inch board between 1x6 boards and wood glued and nailed everything together. The mirror was siliconed to the 1/4inch board!

@@VinnyGjokaj Oh cool cool! I can see doing it that way. :) Simple. Thanks.
@VinnyGjokaj5 жыл бұрын
It was simple but it was like a rock! Wood gluing the layers and using red cedar it hasnt budged a biit! It was simple but it did work! My girlfriend loves having mirrors on both sides of the door, I really liked that the door cost a little over $100 much cheaper then buying a hardwood door!!
