This is so cute! So much better than the bought costume. I have seen other seamstresses have luck using a gathering foot with tulle. Haven't tried it myself though.

Thank you so much and I agree handmade costumes often have a special charm to them. I just googled “gathering foot” and it seems that would’ve made things so much easier 😩🤣 I’ll definitely keep in mind for future projects. Thanks for the tip!
