I have the rainbow dream fantasea tail skin but didn’t feel like getting the fantasea fin so I used the Finnish Luna as the monofin and vinyl to fill out the rest of the space, I think I should replace the vinyl ngl

You can use velcro straps and then the screws and nuts won't get rusty and ruin your tail

I see that the end of your fluke seems all closed up(stitched up)... Doesn't that cause any ballooning of the fluke area or drag?... Thanks👍 just curious

Nope! When you first put it in water you just ease it in slowly to allow any trapped air to come out. But that’s also partly why I made the vinyl inserts - because they fill it out and leave less room for any air to stay there in the first place Hope this helps :)

It does make it a bit heavier/uses more strength to propel yourself in the water! So make sure you feel comfortable with it, but the added propulsion also makes you go faster

I wonder, would the edges of the nuts and bolts cause additional wear and tear on the fabric?

It does a little bit! But that’s why you want to get very short machine screws (flat, not sharp) to minimize that

Marine Vinyl . com for clear 80 gauge vinyl. Stuff can't be beat. And I just printed a lifesize image of the appropriate silicone fluke for the tail on computer paper. I did this by cutting up the image digitally so that each piece fit on 8.5 x 11" paper and then printed them, cut the shapes out, and taped them together
