Bloody top effort mate great to see someone just have a go with a cheap welder like that

Absolutely brilliant my guy! Good support and bracing construction. GT Omega eat your heart out!

yeah definitely didn't want to spend the hundreds on a stand ahaha. but the wood one was nearing the end of its time
@Nix-i5r2 жыл бұрын
Good work. I'm a welder by profession and I think it's great what you've achieved. But in my private life I prefer to work with wood. Also on the rig. Something can be changed faster and with little effort. And I am rebuilding and changing almost every day. 😁👍
@thatbrokegamer.2 жыл бұрын
thanks man!! yeah the wood one was to try things out and figure out where and what i wanted so i had a better idea on what the metal one would be as like you said, easier to play around with ideas with the wood

That's awesome man. As welder/fabricator myself, I like seeing ppl build stuff instead of buying stuff. You'll notice a huge improvement hard mounting the wheel. Hope you sanded the corners of the table top too, so you don't gash your leg open getting in/out 👌🏼you pick up horizon 5 yet?
@thatbrokegamer.2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man!! Yeah figured we'll do it because a gassless mig set up costs very little. All the sharp stuff got a quick hit with the sand disk on the grinder as well to smooth it out a bit. And yeah got fh5, just don't enjoy playing it really. Never wants to recognise the clutch while driving. Even though it reads it to map the pedal. And settings option to change your wheel rotation angle. So a bit eh and only do it for gameplay/lets play stuff to post
@Jnibbs242 жыл бұрын
@@thatbrokegamer. yeah I'm not too impressed with fh5 either. I'm on a tx wheel and have to re bind everything every time I play it, very annoying. Also I noticed for it to be decent at drifting /ffb I have to set rotation to 360 instead of 900. Hopefully they fix the binding issues with an update soon. Or it's back to assetto for me

Hey bud, just curious what pedals you're using??
@jimmySeki Жыл бұрын
Looks like the normal g29 pedals but he took them out of their casing
@thatbrokegamer.11 ай бұрын
just the standard g920 pedals, but as mentioned in the other reply, pulled them out of the plastic and inverted them

Why buy a fancy playseat when you can just make your own stand with some scrap metal?
@thatbrokegamer.2 жыл бұрын
sure as heck dont have $400+ to spend on a seat aha, free materials from the side of the road sounds better

Hey mate... JP here from the Philippines. Justwant to ask the dimension of the base frame and the height of the steering wheel. Im planning to build my own rig. Thank mate
@thatbrokegamer.2 жыл бұрын
hey man, so the frame is build to suit the seat. so its going to be different dimensions anyway unless you too are using a 2003 holden commodore seat aha. all changes from the rail width, length, seat height from where you sit.
@mubeen15892 жыл бұрын
Can u provide us the measurements, please ? Also, might be helpful if you just took a picture of stand and marked the dimensions on the photo itself instead of mentioning it in the comments 😅
@thatbrokegamer. Жыл бұрын
the stand got built based around the car seat that i have. so measurements really only mean something to someone who is also building a stand with a 2002 holden commodore seat. because that changes the length, width and height that everything else gets built to
