I have followed the instructions in this video, along with other clips mentioned. Sealing the greenhouse using foam strips makes F All difference. Actually, I found that, the humidity level in my upstairs apartment was higher than the greenhouse itself. Further, the Alocacias I have at home are growing just fine without the greenhouse.I had a lot of issues with Ikea themselves, as the ridiculous plastic screws included in the box are horrid. Ended up just using screws and bolts to hold it in place Ikea themselves could not even put the greenhouse together and refused to refund my money. Better off buying a proper greenhouse and not wasting my money with this imitation toy ripoff.

Im sorry that it didn’t work out for you :-( its really good that you have high humidity in your home and im so glad your alocasia are thriving! My apartment is really drafty dry and dark so this little project has made all the difference for me and my collection :-) happy planting

​@@FrobsFoliageThat's a classy reply, my frustration isnt directed at you, rather at Ikea.Can I ask, how did you seal the bit of the greenhouse just below the handle.There is a gap there.

@@mindworks2014i used the same method as the clear plastic flappy weather stripping on the side of the lid! It creates a lovely seal for that part :-) i didnt realize i didnt include that in the video sorry x
