This was singlehandedly one of the better cabinet videos I've seen. very straightforward and enjoyable to watch! One thing I was curious about - did you drill a hole in your cabinets to make room for cords for your grow lights?

This is perfect timing, I just brought home my first greenhouse cabinet last weekend!

Claire, you have given me an idea! I have a fully self sufficient aquarium, filterless, with shrimp, snails, and minnows, and positively full of aquatic plants. Now i want to have a house plant or two on top of it, with their roots dangling in the water. Not planted on there! Just placed in a pot on top with holes, so its roots can go in the water. Which plants do you think would work well for this?

Loved this video, so informative! Right now im just using a display box after getting some begonias which really needed the extra humidity. Thinking of setting up a cabinet soon so this really helped.

Hello Claire, your plants and space are GORGEOUS!! I've had to keep my Peace lillies, Red Anthuriums, African Violets, Maidenhair fern, Coleus, Purple Oxalis, Red Aglaonemas, Red Begonias and and other plants in my indoor greenhouses because of my cat Lucy and my apartment being cold!! They all love it!! The only thing I tend to forget is opening the plastic covers to air them out!! I've had mushrooms growing in some of my plants lol!! Now I have notification reminders to open up the covers 2-3 times a week and that's really helped!!❤

Can u put cabinet in a room that would have air conditioning and heaters on/ winter and summer
@lillamy28967 ай бұрын
Dont use wood cabinet with high humidity. The sealent will flake and get moldy. Try to use adhesive plastic. A strong ordinariy light bulb or spot is the same as a growlight and select the white toned. The red and blue toned lights is a waste of money. The colors is already in the white light but u just cant see it

Of course plants love light, but in the tropics, day and night last approximately 12 hours each. So I think that 12 hours is enough for tropical plants, but these are just my thoughts.

Ross is still killing me with the “Stay sexy plant lovers” 😂 I want mother lights badly, but I’m finding Barina to be just as effective and a bit more cost efficient. Michelle at OhThePlacesYoullGrow has a great way of making them magnetic which has helped my set up so much!
