Love this idea! It always confused me how you could seal the little jars with wax but that's so much easier! I will be making one for anxiety soon but it would be cool if you could include the properties of why you added certain things? :)

I'm not too sure about all of the meanings for the first two, but I know for the anxiety jar the lavender is known for calming, salt is for cleansing and removing low vibration energies, amethyst is for peace and balance, and clear quartz is a master amplifier, so it just intensifies the energies of everything else in the jar! from what i have learned, you leave them wherever you think they fit best and they work for you as long as you need them. you dont really need to recharge them unless you feel like they have stopped working.

Love your DIY vid is I've made these and used skinny birthday candles to seal them so I could pray over each of them individually. For my prosperity I used a green candle and I also added to my jar shredded money, money oil & brown sugar, so it was like a hoodoo honey jar Health I used a blue candle and creativity I printed out a small The Magician Tarot card, some pencil shavings and used a yellow candle It was crazy hard to find those mini stones luckily a friend had some

I have a question, in order to do witchcraft do you need to be considered a witch? I don't consider myself one (there are a few things that witches believe that I don't, maybe because of the lack of knowledge or just my way of thinking) but I want to start making some type of herb infusions, maybe eggshell powder and that type of stuff for my daily life (using powder as calcium and infusions to maybe help with acne, stress, insomnia etc) I don't know if it would be disrespectful to witches or harmful for me and my surroundings in any way if I start doing these while not being considered a witch. (I also need to say that of course I'll do research Everytime I want to do an infusion so I am sure of what I'm doing, but if it would be troublesome in any way please let me know politely!)

So u can become a witch no matter what ur religion is. And if u do these kinds of stuff u kinda technically are a witch. But that's just my opinion. And yes, do ur research! Go to any stores near u were u can buy crystals, and jars, and books! Another tip is to write all the stuff u learn down. And don't just randomly start doing spells because they have a chance to backfire. Even protection spells can sometimes go wrong. I recommend making a protection circle by using candles or salt. And I also HIGHLY recommend cleansing ur area while having the intention that u are safe and protected. And when u finish that make ur spell. Good luck with everything :)

not all witches believe in the same things. if you do witchcraft then you're a witch, but there aren't any restrictions to being one. some examples: you do not have to be wiccan, pagan, or a woman to be a witch. a lot of people get these mixed up. you also can worship any deity you believe in, even multiple from different cultures (for instance you could worship Athena while also worshiping Ra) and you can be any religion while also practicing. like i said before, not every witch has the same beliefs. anyone who tries to gatekeep the craft is someone you should not listen to. you don't have to consider yourself a witch just because you like crystals, but if you're actually practicing and doing spells and/or other things that are considered witchcraft, it'd be really odd to not consider yourself a witch. of course, labels suck and not everyone wants to have one, but to make it easier on others and yourself it'd be something to consider.

@@pariithakur2855 I’m assuming you’re quite new to this, but all the advice I have for you is, don’t watch videos on how to make them (I know I sound like a hypocrite but I just wanted to learn to seal them) because these jars are your own- not theirs. Use what is right for you. If I were you, I’d research dried herbs, flowers etc and learn what they do and mean. Also only put in completely dry stuff or your spell jar will mould and rot and you’ll have to dispose of it quite soon. Good luck!!

i'm late, but you could possibly do chamomile for its calming properties. like another comment said, rosemary is good as well, and is also a GREAT herb for protection/cleansing. (tip: if you have chamomile tea, you can rip the teabag open and use the actual tea instead of spending more money to get fresh/dried or loose tea chamomile.)

Wouldn't purple wax me better for anxiety because red wax is more like something for anger or even green wax to help calm anxiety blue too

a quick google search can help you find out what every wax color can represent. purple is usually more for physic. red is for attraction and passion and other things. green wax is for abundance, growth, physical pain. depending on the shade, blue can range from mental health, calming, and tons more.

you don’t need crystals in them at all!! So many plants, herbs, salts and others have different uses depending on what jar you are making. I’d do some research on it if I were you. As for the candles, different colours mean different things, for instance pink usually symbolizes love whereas red is more strength, power and passion. If you don’t have the colour you want to use, use a white candle or no candle at all.
