I managed to get mine working, first attempt it did not work properly it seemed like something was loose after I re soldered all the connections the trouble stopped I tried with a few different power adapters I had and at like 15v it seemed to be heating to hot and I did not want to blow up the transistor so I tried a 6v adaptor I had and it seems to work better for some reason when I attempt to connect a plastic ball wrapped in tin foil to the top of the coil the led light cuts out and I don't think it lights up a neon bulb any longer which I found a bit strange. Any advice on that would be helpful thanks Great product.

A proper instruction audibly wouldn't come amiss and you need to learn how to solder before making the video.
