Thanks for pointing this out. If I didn't want to use a radio, could I just use the BlueDV software and a headset to connect to the various modes, DMR, DStar, Fusion, etc... ? (similar to using a DVStick)?

Hi no you would need a Dvstick or make a dvswitch server you also have the Droidstar option.

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Thanks for mentioning DVSwitch Andreas. I already have a Raspberry Pi4 running Home Assistant for home automation, and just added the DVSwitch installation to that instance and now have DVSwitch running 24/day. Pretty cool to be able to listen in to talkgroups/nets even while at work. The only minor problem I have with DVSwitch is that TG91 for some reason, has to be a static talk group on BrandMeister, otherwise, it would disconnect after just one speaker. No other talk groups have this symptom. Not a big issue though. Thanks.

What if the TX or RX offset of the MMDVM is different from zero? Do you have solution?

this is nice to know because of all the fancy things out there.. the bottom line is you only need a basic radio hat and you can use many ways to get the hat working with computer or various chips that can run the program. i found the item to use the bluetooth interesting. and shows how little data is really involved here to produce the audio as intelligence. 73 de vo1kjm ve9

I did the one you suggested with the usb board, that works, however I purchased what you suggest here, and it does not work. The uart shows up (Com 19) , and power works on mmdvm, but blue dv will not connect (serial button does work, but all / any mode button won't activate) I wondered if when you had us install the serial driver for the usb board, it did something, however all my radios on this pc use the uart drivers and work fine. (ft991a, ftdx3000, ftdx101 to HRD software, and wsjtx) any suggestions ? did try on another pc, same thing, running windows 10. Cheers my friend.
