Those drawers look fantastic inside the stand! I agree that having more tools on wheels is a positive for small shops. All of my benchtop tools are on wheels except for my jointer, but I’m working on that. I’ll have to give the sports drink a try
@inspiringbuilds9 ай бұрын
Thank you brother! I removed the legs and switched the hardware to black and it was much easier than building drawers. The drink is not only good for working out, but staying hydrated and healthy with no sugar. 👍

I am always fascinated to see what new tool you will use next. Never even knew a Kreg Jig existed until now. Dan, thanks for always introducing us to these helpful tools and showing us how to use them. Awesome!!👍🏼

Looks similar to one I built for my son's mini fridge and microwave in college. Now, it holds the beer fridge in the shop. Lol. Love simple and effective designs like these. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't need a mobile one, so I built a wooden stand attached to the wall, with diagonal lower support, meeting the wall above the floor, to keep the floor clear.
@inspiringbuilds9 ай бұрын
That’s a great idea as I’m a big fan of keeping the clear floor when possible and room allows. Thanks for watching! I will be working on other drill press related videos for improvement such as a drill press table for any drill press along with other upgrades. Stay tuned if that interests you. 👍

@@timlist4173 Thanks for watching. The K4 is nice as well. I encourage everyone to pick up a Kreg jig, even if it’s the simple R3 that I have used for years as well. They’re super cheap and start around $40 and pays for itself in a single job.

Nice look. Do you think the shear strength is sufficient for a tool as heavy as a drill press?

Try wrist band on the hand that is holding the driver. With it on the left hand, you have to put down the drill to place the screws. On the right wrist, you keep the drill in hand and select the screws with the left hand...at least that's what works for me. Cheers
