Thanks for sharing just watch your original video before this one and you answered my questions. After watching this one I have another. It looked like you applied mold pieces to your beautiful pumpkin if so was this paste used in the molds.

@@michellec9368 I used air-dry clay in the molds. I used the paste to seal tiny cracks and smooth imperfections. The full pumpkins video is linked in the description section of this video and if you decide to buy supplies I'd appreciate it so much if you'd use my Amazon affiliate like (I get a tiny commission😏)🙏

WOW thank you so much. Your explanations together with the video are so simple & it looks very easy. Q: can I use cornstarch instead of baby powder? Q: to smooth the paste when applying, can I do it with a damp or wet brush? Or just with palette knife or finger/s? Q: can I put the paste into a piping bag to create raised lines? Q: where are you located/based from? I’m very excited to try this!! I’ve subscribed & look forward to many more tutorial videos. Once again, my sincere thanks ♥️

@@mariettew-b9629 #1 Yes you can use cornstarch instead of baby powder (some baby powder are made with cornstarch) #2 I don't recommend using a damp/wet brush to smooth the paste, as it adds more moisture to the paste. You can use a dry brush... Smoothing method just depends on what you are comfortable with and what is more efficient for you. #3 Yes you can pipe the paste using a piping bag. I don't recommend storing the paste in the piping bag though. A sealed glass jar works best for storage #4 I am in Europe currently but sometimes in the US. I'm excited for you. Have fun with the paste! Please use the recipe in the description section of the videos (the original video had euro & US measurements... a bit confusing). If you purchase supplies online, would you be so kind to use any of my supplies links to access Amazon. As an affiliate I would get a tiny commission for purchases.

Hey .. beautiful explanation… I’m wondering if this can be used on canvases to create textured art?

@@MocasWorld What if it cracks?
@MocasWorld7 ай бұрын
@@safiyaart If the canvas is sturdy, that will eliminate some unnecessary movement of the dried paste. I mentioned how to deal with hairline cracks in the video in the touchups section at 08:13 Also.. as I mentioned in the video, you can apply a coat of crafting glue to seal the dried paste, before painting it. That with the acrylic painting, will help to keep it in tact. The idea is once you've completed the project, it is handled delicately, displayed and not touched.. as you would with any piece of artwork. Of course the only way to know for sure is to actually do it. Let me know how your project turns out please.

Can that paste withstand contact with water when it's dried up?
@MocasWorld3 ай бұрын
@@MrGTAmodsgerman Its meant for decorative crafting projects and I assume it won't do well with water, especially over time. However, you could make a small batch and try it... Perhaps adding extra glue may help?

@@MocasWorld Alright, thanks! Yea what i am trying to do is decorative but also have to be functional to some sort because it's for an RC car.
@MocasWorld3 ай бұрын
@@MrGTAmodsgerman Besides some extra glue in the mixture itself, brush a coat or two of GLUE only, onto the exterior of the surface of the paste AFTER you apply it and it has dried. That should provide extra layers of protection against water... At least temporarily. Please let us know how it turns out, if you do it.
