Of course 😂 instead of removing the tape you will have to leave on one bill bc it will remove a layer off the money. I make these and a lot of other things crafty.. Use fake money to save yourself the hassle of worrying abt tearing your money.

I cut my tape the same width as the dollar bill (maybe even a bit shorter) and do NOT wrap it around the ends of the dollar bills. And I do not let the bills overlap. This way it's not very hard to separate the bills and they do not tear. Also, I use the non-glossy tape for this because, for me, this tape is easier to tear.
