Oh my god you saved me. My ends were looking so sparse and sad and I have very bad experiences with hairdressers… they never know how to make my thin fine hair look good for some reason. Ahh, I did it! I love it! At first the cuts were bad, I was worried, I had to cut thru big chunks and it was chunky then I did the center under the chin cut and fixed it, made sure to add the angled cuts and bam! Took off 2” if whispy ugly strings and now I have my favorite cute little u shaped cut. My hair is down to my butt and it worked perfectly. I also did include my side part which I always wear and then when I got to the back went down the middle. Works for me! Thank youuuuuu! I feel like a million bucks and especially since I just did it myself! You’re the best!

Thank you, I did this because I have stringy thin ends. I have to the waist curly wavy slightly thick unruly hair. That I have cut for years or rather experimented on😂. I did this and took of about 3", it looks much better. I have a lot of layers. So over the next year I will keep doing this and see how it goes! Thanks again ❤

When I did it, I basically just pull my hair to the front and cut it like the last step did and I got a deep u shape. The one thing I did different is that I didn’t place the hair behind my ears.

I don't understand why you don't just put it in a ponytail under the chin from the start. You're cutting it on one side then the other and then again in the middle.

I tried this and it looks good but WARNING, if you have very thick and long hair like me its gonna be quite the challenge 😅 but just be patient and honestly the results are far better than I expected
