SHE DONE DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! I do like the darker fabric as it makes it pop more with all the white from the cabinets. Plus lace will get dark and dingy from the cooking and smoke plus the sun will discolor the fabric. sun will also fade the black eventually but I saw a video the other day that said if you use salt in the water when washing it brings back vibrant color. Good luck in your new home the kitchen is beautiful so I am awaiting your house tour video.....just take your time decorating and dont over spend as when we try doing things on impulse our creative minds change too frequent....God Bless mi friend!

Swooning....congrats on the new home. I'm swooning over that AND those breathtaking curtains. I'm seriously impressed that in the black & white version you echoed a design very similar to your backsplash and in the black & silver cornice you picked up on the lattice design element in the cabinet door. Since i don't believe you mentioned it in your narrative not sure if the matching was intentional or a happy coincidence. Regardless, repeating design elements around like that helps create the high-end look and cohesiveness needed in a well designed room. Sooo looking forward to seeing this home come alive under your awesome creativity. I hope, as I'm sure other of your subbies would, enjoy a before and after and a final reveal once you are through with a particular area. I love your window treatments. You should also try cardboard with wallpaper for a valance. Make sure if you do this you get enough wallpaper, maybe two rolls. Make your cardboard the length of your windows then cover it with the wallpaper. Take your roll of paper and make it into a fan then hot glue to the back of cardboard with the wallpaper on it. You can make the fans any size you want and use smaller size across. Add what ever you want to dress it up. So pretty.
