Of all the tutu video's that I've seen i can Honestly say that i Love your video the Most bcuz you tie your tule instead of overlapping it and alot of times the overlapping comes unraveled and it gets Aggravating!!! How many rolls of tulle is required to make a tutu for 6 yr old please. The rolls I’m getting are each 6 inch wide and 22/25 mts. In length. Wanting to do the Elsa tutu, so have 3 blue and 2 white rolls ordered. And to do two layers in order of 3 blue strips two white strips. Shoukd this be enough based on the 12 inch length? Thank you

First let me say Aweeesome!! Video Tutorial and I'm Definitely going to use the colors that you are using ok now for a 18 inch waist for a 18 24 month totler i cut the waist band and xtra inch? THANKS👍

Thank you!! For the waistband cut it an inch shorter because the elastic will stretch as you add the tulle, you can even cut the elastic 1.5" shorter of needed

Thank you! For a 12month tutu depending on how full you want it you will need approx 50-75 yards (in rolls) of tulle ❤

I guess you would just use four strips of the tulle and separate to get the fuller one. She only used two strips. So more strips means a fuller skirt. I am going to try that this weekend

I got mine on eBay for $50…I purchased a size 2T since that is the majority of sizes I make and I am still able to use it for sizes that are a little bigger I just pin it 😃

You measure their waist and go down 2 to 3 numbers so if their wast is 65 then 2 or 3 numbers down is 62 because the material stretches

Hi quick question! I want to try my first ribbon trim tutu I’m going to get my sewing machine from Walmart. Would i just buy the roll of thread in the color I’m using & blank bobbins?

Correct, you want to use a spool of thread in the same color as the ribbon you are sewing. And yes you will need bobbins as well 😊

I have actually never tried another way simply because due to the amount of stretching sewing the waistband would be the most secure option, but you can hand sew it if you do not have a sewing machine 😊

I use candle jars and baby dolls from Walmart the dolls cost $5 bucks or less and the candles I get from the dollar tree for $1.25 maybe you can try this, if you’re making these tutus for the general public.

The width is probably about 8"-9" wide but the width wont make a difference in your strips. You just want a piece of cardboard wide enough to wrap the 6" wide tulle around
