DIY Off Grid Cabin - Episode 13 - Interior Tour

Welcome to my build series "DIY Off Grid Cabin". I'm very excited for this project series and hope that you will follow along until the project is completed. I have always wanted to build a completely off grid tiny house on my remote property, where there will be no access to electricity or conventional water sources. There are no driveways back to the cabin either, making access via ATV or UTV only.
In this 13th video in the series, I'm taking you on a tour of the finished interior of the cabin. We will have to wait until spring to finish the outside and paint.

That's a nice shed/cabin. Looks very similar to mine except I don't have a wood stove and I have a loft where your wood stove is for extra sleeping area.

You should make a hot tub out of a water tank and copper tubing that uses a 🔥 for heat. ! The cabin turned out great

you should do some solar to it and maybe run an RV pump for the faucet. and this way you could run some lights too

Don't forget to empty that bucket! Over flows are no fun. You could run a pipe to the outside and put your bucket outside. Nice flag!

What did you use for the walls, ceilings and floor? If I’m going to buy materials, what should I ask for? And how much material did you buy for a 12x24 cabin? We have the same size and style shed that we are converting to an offgrid cabin. Thank you so much. I learned a lot from your videos.

It's a shiplap pine. It's going to kind of be up to what is available in your area. I am lucky to have a Amish would supply store near me and they have a large supply of shiplap pine boards. On one side it's kind of rough, which I used for the cealing and the other side is smooth, which I used for the walls.

I just went back and forth and decided I liked the rough texture but didn't want it on the walls so just to differentiate the ceiling a little bit from the walls. It's just personal taste
