Load of rubbish, I’ve had my 2014 CRV for over 10 years and it’s been the best car I’ve had. Like any car you can get a bad one and I’ve had quite a few including Audi and Volkswagen which were once the gold standard for reliability.

Are there any harnesses out there that provide the RCA for the backup camera? I bought a harness thinking I had the right one but I think its made to link the OEM screen with a third party camera, not third party screen with the OEM camera as shown here.

I should add that when I added my HD Radio to my base 2016 Police Interceptor Utility (no APIM Module), using the part you specified, I also had a problem with the volume being fixed, I corrected this by changing the 3rd character in the ACM 727 01-01 from A to 0. This value of "0" was the value used with my original plain jane (non HD non SYNC) ACM and it seems to work perfectly in the HD ACM also.

In regard to the Promaster traction, I build out a rv for my daughter. My daughter lives in San Francisco. Because of the steep inclines in the city. There was a time in which on a rainy day, the Promaster front wheels would spin on a high grade uphill road. So I agree with your negative traction ideal of Promaster.

Summary is IDATA do very bad remote control. Either 4 buttons or 1 button. I have gone to my dealership thrice in one year for both fobs and I have a new problem again. Rubbish product.

I am A DIY, and I bought this, but unfortunately, it's totally useless. As I remember a couple decades ago scan tools didn't need internet. So this won't be any good out on the road or in my residential parking garage in the city. Now, it won't even power up😮. A total waste of money 🤑

The dip tube is smaller to run leaner, sea level use at low heat settings rather than only running it on hi could cause sooting of the burn chamber. The smaller tube would help to reduce this.

They help when you want to park and they are round. My question is if I get to put sensors on my car, there is a way to link them to my joying stereo and works? Thanks.

I did the same ceiling insulation: styro boards on 24" centres. Barn-style cabin and at 14' above floor, THAT WAS THE HARDEST PART OF THE CABIN! (I'm a ladder chicken). You did an excellent job. I had to put shutters on my windows to keep the black bears out.

Is there a amp power wire i can hook up to this or do I have to tap into the ignition power wire?

Got one of these for my wife's EX-L for her birthday and it works well except for a couple of small issues. Wanted to see if anyone else had the same thing and was able to get them rectified. 1) All the steering wheel buttons work as expected with the exception of the phone call buttons. Is that expected, or is there additional programming needed? 2) Unless I'm totally missing it, the included antenna adapter cables don't match up with the end of any of the factory connections in the car. Am I missing a harness?

My car was covered with snow, and a little ice, it was right around the freezing point, and I think some snow/ice must have been what knocked mine off track. I thought it was frozen and maybe needed to melt but noticed the rubber at the window like you pointed out and so it was off track. I got a tarp in there and will fix it in the sun tomorrow.

Curious as to your opinion of the VTC actuator spring replacement? It's obviously a much less invasive procedure and apparently only works if the timing chain is not stretched. Is this the inherent design flaw you refer to in the video or is it something else? I've seen mixed reviews from folks on whether a spring replacement is an effective long-term fix.

We purchased a used 2012 CRV in 2017 with 49K miles. Long story short, we had this same issue, the dealer fixed it once, the problem came back, it wouldn't do this at the dealer when left with them, and it still occasionally does this. We currently have 144k miles on the car. We found that parking the car on our driveway with the front end sloping downward greatly reduces this issue, probably because oil is kept in the actuator better in this position. In 2022, we kept our CRV but bought a new RAV4. We have owned Honda cars since 1995, and Honda motorcycles since 1974, we never bought anything else during that time. The 2012 actuator issue was a factor in choosing the RAV4, but other issues were that Honda engines are now smaller turbo charged engines, and Honda decided to use CVTs (constant velocity transmissions). After decades of owning Honda vehicles, we came to the conclusion that the engineers were no longer making engineering decisions for the company, and the decisions in design appeared to be made now by the accountants. That's just an opinion, our opinion. I really hope that someone at Honda reads this post.

the wifi antenna attached to my stereo unit looks different than all the ones I see on line for Joying -- and the one you have on the one shown here, all the ones online (and in the photo included along with my unit) that short antenna is a wire, with black rubber-coated antenna that is constricted about halfway along its length, and then with an actual wire coming out the end. The one on my unit is also black coated, but it has a short constriction halfway up with then gets wide again.and it lacks any wire coming from the end. It looks like |-----------____-------------| |_______------________| yours looks like this: -------------____________ ________-------------------- should I contact joying? or is that just an alternative 'wife/bluetooth' antenna... when I plugged it in, it 'tried' to connect to my phone via bluetooth and failed...
