Ill join the chorus, Jason mentioned you while I was wathing his coffee with the Crockers channel. He mentioned something about some "experts" trying to sound off and look like something. Bunch of nothings that aint got the guts to get out there and try a little something different for themselves so they gotta try and disrespect someone who is and does. So Imma give ya a like on your vids and hit that sub button. Wont promise how much Ill get to watch but there will be that much. Well, Ill be here to slam on the haters for ya from time to time. As a viewer I dont have to be quite so nice about it. See, them "experts" apparently dont realize that everyone has to start and learn somewhere and the real professionals will tell ya that and they will also tell ya that they still make mistakes cause, aint nobody perfect. Shows me that these "experts" here trying to hate on ya arent professionals yet cause they havent learned that lesson apparently. If they even know the first thing about any of it. So you rock on with what ya do. Cause I doubt I will be the only Crocker fan that'll have your back. As I said, I see a chorus here, Crocker fans are good folks and we all despise haters.

Its only been a few hours since the Crocker fans have started pouring in. And I mean that literally. I still have a hard time believing how many people have stopped by today. So a big thank you to not only the Crocker's but to all of you. While I don't have a lot of haters here. There are obviously some. And the longer I am on here the more I will encounter. But they are what they are. And I have no plans to change them. I am here to share what I am doing because my family and friends live at the other end of the country and this was to me the easiest method to share my projects. While I see that it is growing into something much more. As I love seeing how many people share how they want to do the same thing. And that's what I get out of this. I expected nothing. But love the fact that others will follow their dreams after seeing simple little videos like myself. So for that. I think you so much for your support and your kind words.

This is a great video about how to get started with your build,very good.Trim the wood down to about 1/2x 1or2" and 2"x2" for structure,add a plywood or outer skin of your choise and you really have something,,,you designed and built.

Great build. My one concern is that rear crossmembers (where the sides meet the top at the back) are all broken on top of each other with no lower support or gussets other than the shear strength of the screws you used. I would keep an eye on the joints as the bed flexes. They will be your weak point.

They get their strength from the side frames. And they way the angled pieces are cut they also support the cross beam. And now that it's been sprayed it gives those parts a bit more strength. But I do check it regularly. And before I built the walls I was hanging off of it to check for strength also.

Great idea! But I'm going to raise the lid on what I currently have. I.e., a plastic/fiberglass canopy. I can weld, so the support will probably be metal. Very simple, very strong. Will then insulate. I think that'll work? Of course, I ain't always right. Dang!
