Great job and thanks for the ideas. I’m putting an older projector out back to do movie nights in this damn shelter in places we have just to give us something to do and I don’t want to spend $1,000 on patio furniture. It’s so expensive I’m blown away and all I want is to be Comfortable and I’m sure $1,000 don’t buy comfort lol. Thank you for the great idea

when you decide you want heavier foam, go to thrift stores (or if you live in such a city, "curb shop") and look for lousy couches. you want the cushions. I have a collection of couch foam. Great for outdoor seating when recovered.

I'm so glad you mentioned the weight issue. So many people just stack up pallets, attach & that's it. Though that seems easier, it means a heavy piece of furniture that's nearly impossible to move without a small army. Better to take a bit of time, remove the excess & have a lighter piece.

Although it sounds like a great idea to go with pallets from the grocery store to avoid pesticides, if you're putting a pad or cushioning on the pallets the pesticides could help keep the mites out. And since you wouldn't been in direct contact, it shouldn't be a health issue

Love the outcome after building the outdoor sectional, and then adding those pillows was a great transformation. Why no back post on the long part of the sectional?. Fabulous

Evelyn J. Amponsah the longer part of the sectional is more like a chaise lounge. I thought about adding a back, but since it was up against the house, didn't think I needed to. If I decide to move it around later, I may decide to add a back then. Thanks for your comment.

I know i'm extremely late with my comment but oh well,,,, Let me tell you guys bout this I've had my pallets at my back door for months with intentions of completing the same project. Did i mention how much them things drove my wife insane. So as my procrastination continued and the many promises of starting and just trying to bye me some time, even though i have a great excuse of being exalted after a daily 5.am/9.pm week. So when i arrived home from work yesterday and got me a glass of ice cold Pepsi, running my bath water and went to refill my glass only to noticed my damn supply of pallets were gone. World my wife done evicted my pallets good clean new pallets. That goes to say '' When A Woman's fed up their isn't nothing you can do about it'' (R. Kelley voice) but do what you say your going to do. Mrs. Angela East thank you for the motivation also the guide to complete this D.I.Y hopefully as great as you and your husband did this one. great job
