Great job and thanks for the ideas. I’m putting an older projector out back to do movie nights in this damn shelter in places we have just to give us something to do and I don’t want to spend $1,000 on patio furniture. It’s so expensive I’m blown away and all I want is to be Comfortable and I’m sure $1,000 don’t buy comfort lol. Thank you for the great idea

when you decide you want heavier foam, go to thrift stores (or if you live in such a city, "curb shop") and look for lousy couches. you want the cushions. I have a collection of couch foam. Great for outdoor seating when recovered.

I'm so glad you mentioned the weight issue. So many people just stack up pallets, attach & that's it. Though that seems easier, it means a heavy piece of furniture that's nearly impossible to move without a small army. Better to take a bit of time, remove the excess & have a lighter piece.

Love the outcome after building the outdoor sectional, and then adding those pillows was a great transformation. Why no back post on the long part of the sectional?. Fabulous

Evelyn J. Amponsah the longer part of the sectional is more like a chaise lounge. I thought about adding a back, but since it was up against the house, didn't think I needed to. If I decide to move it around later, I may decide to add a back then. Thanks for your comment.
