I thought I'd seen the most dangerous table saw before, but this truly takes the cake. Holy smokes. This is truly breathtaking.

Man where did you find a pallet that heavy duty? I have access to unlimited pallets, but I've never seen one with such thick cuts.

Maybe they are not used in your country. I got a bunch of them

When I worked on a construction site, someone referred to them as "glass pallets". And said they're especially strong and rigid for transporting panes of glass.

What do you call the brackets(?) you used to hold up the shelves? I don't think we have them in my neck of the woods. Do you have a link to somewhere I can buy them online?

idk i'm a perfectionist and have ocd for details, there's a few unpolished techniques i'd have to figure out how to modify personally if i went with your design like the joining of the 3 pieces and the metal L brackets. other than that good job.
@DY-cq3qd9 ай бұрын
Unless your cutting is dead on it will be wobbly and it has no cross brace system to rectify this. You are limited by the size of the wood and there is no stacking joins to overcome this. Actually you can buy carcassing wood very cheaply in 7 foot lengths plus so you can have floor to ceiling shelves. Try not to use a jig saw use a mitre saw. Or a mitre box and panel saw. If you used triangular metal brackets at the back you will partially brace it. Think whether you need to attach to a wall - kids - elderly etc.

I would like to try this… excuse my ignorance, but what are those little metals where the screws go to hold up the shelves to the studs?
@erichepperle590210 ай бұрын
Excellent video! Can you share *what type of screws you are using?* For the most part, I've been using 2 or 3 inch deck screws. I'd like to get these screws you have but I don't know what they are. Thanks

Yeah, a lot of stolen plans from a spinoff of "Ted's Woodworking" BS with a fake guy for the brand. Go to the site and watch your adblocker go berserk with "unsafe" links. Plus the 25 minute advertorial there that repeats the same five sentences over and over, while demonstrating obvious variations in the plan styles - because they're stolen - is just breathtaking in its incompetence. Don't give them your money.
