I really like how you square everything off with gravity and the table. I'd try to hold s square while drilling. Too much! Thanks for all the great ideas.

If you don’t have screws and have nails instead you still can put nails in but make sure you drill pilot holes and blunt the nail sharp point by hammer 🔨 to prevent splitting

Awesome! Was planning on doing this soon! I was thinking about running a second, parallel set of overhead storage further in over the garage door. Thinking having the storage entirely joist-supported should be fine for another couple hundred pounds. They are holding up a roof and a second story after all. 1:16

I can see a future upgrade. A small loft to lay long material like that roll of fencing on so it does not take up a whole shelf. DIYers just keep on DIYing. 1:22

Deano here from Biloxi, MS, USA. Great video. I just have one question. Did you really not split any wood or did you just edit the video to take it out? I am just asking because I have a great deal just tearing down the pallett and removing nails w/o splitting the wood. I guess practice makes perfect!! LOL

You'll have to source them locally. Check stores for throw-aways, and around here, reclaimed wood shops will sell them, and normally they've been de-nailed or screwed making it easier for you to use. You can also use scrap wood, you don't have to use just old pallets.

I would like very much to build this shoe rack. Please give me the dimensions in standard U.S. instead of metric. I got that the height is a little long than 3 feet. and the cross slats are the same. How wide is it, and how far apart are the shelves
