Kitty is so cooperative, my cat would have taken off a finger if I tried that. Lol. Both of their pawprints are super cute. Could even consider painting them if you wanted different colors. 🙂 As a word of caution: Definitely make sure no pets eat the dough ornaments. The amount of salt in them can cause salt toxicity which in short causes severe neurological signs and potential death.

A fun thing i figured out i can do with the flour dough paw print is make a mold out of it for resin to get a nice replica of your dogs pads ..make sure you get a nice deep print Fill in any holes made by the nails by placeing a slightly bigger ball of dough in the hole Dip your funfure un water to smooth it out and blend the edges until it looks like there never was a hole Then use somthing flat to make it as flat as you can without changing how the print looks if you want it to be your dogs print. If you dont mind of its not and exact match to your dogs print then make it as flat as you you want .you can always sand later. After bakeing Use gloss modge podge and put a 4 or 5 think layers going over the edge down the sides Then use clay or hot glue ect to make a border around the edge I use cheap air dry crayola clay and small aamount of hot glue so it can be peeled away Pour your resin Let dry Remove border Then find the edge of the thick layers of dried mode podge going all around the edge peeling upward leaving it attached. The grab the podge you just peeled As well as the dried resin edge and slowly pry it out. It should peel right out leaving your flour dough print how it looked freash out the oven before putting mode podge on it Peel away the excess dried mod podge and your done. Any that doesn't come off the resin its ok, you have to de light sanding anyway. Make sure you put enough layers of mod podge Cause the heat of the resin will melt through thin layers sticking to the flour print This is just a cheap way if you only have flour and mod podge but no liquid latex or whatever they use you make molds I just wanted my dogs print but not a pressed in print . I wanted you mount it on a plaque making it look like my dogs pads were popping out instead of in.and i just used what i had and figured it out . Im sure there is a easier way with proper materials.. Hope someone finds it useful 👍👎?

@@MyDriftingDesk no problem. maybe you can try it and explain it better cause im bad at explaining...feel free to refine technique ...i literally just figured it out figured its a good way to get a replica of your dogs or cats pads...you can get everything in the dollar store...flour salt mod podge hot glue and even sandpaper . just need a 10 thing of resine and your good to do for 15 20 bucks...you can put the mod podge layers thinner so you have less sanding to do u just have to put a few more layers

OMG! i literally saw a DYI pet ornament at my local christmas tree shop store ( don't know if you have those in ohio), but their more than christmas oriented stores....... any who, i REALLY wanted to do it with oliver ( who probably would've hated it but at least would have tolerated it better than lilly), but i dint buy and instead i bought myself a DYI ornament from the dollar store to paint their little faces on...... that way i dont get scratched up. also, if you ever just want to "screw" around with different texture/ material there's this thing called model magic and it actually bakes pretty well. also, dam like you had laughing my ass off when you said this: " yah she doesn't like to picked up." and then kitty meows at your like "mom stop it!" dont worry my girl lilly is like that as well.
