Wow Mona....getting very gorgeous results with the Pebeo paints....such a contrast from the single "theme" coasters....reminds me of those "geodes" you find at gem and mineral rock fossil stores...I need to read more about Pebeo Paints now!!! p.s. I REALLY LOVE the gold band you wore on your middle finger...kinda looked like an Egypt design??? Totally cool!!! luv ya, Lynda A.

I paint with Pebeo Paints ALL of the time, I have made several pendants and mixed the types of Pebeo paint. Fantasy, moon, prism and vitral are so cool to mix together. Love both! If you can't put tea or coffee on these then what do you market to be used for? Cold drinks only?

Half the fun of the prisme paints is letting it settle so the mica shifts al the way

If you put that resin atop the paints,, HOW can you use them as coasters? Hot cups would damage the coaster or STICK TO IT...they are gorgeous...

***** The coasters are not for hot beverages. However, I did have someone tell me that they used Envirotex Lite and were able to use it with tea and coffee cups. I have not tried it.

hi and are beautiful. I have used ice resin for a works but when is dry I see Littles bubbles and I don't like. are there some tricks for that or is ice resin quality? which can you recommend me or which one do you use?? the finished is perfect shiny and sharp. thanks

+Monica Orellana I use Easy Cast. Sometimes I get little bubbles, when it is cold. I have not tried to Ice Resin, so I really don't know how it compares. See if you can send an email to the maker of Ice Resin and see if they have any tips.

Very neat looking coasters. I like the first one you did better. However, I was disappointed that you never showed us the bottoms of them. Because they are clear on both sides, it would have been nice to see what both sides look like.

Question....i've seen others mix the pebeo along with the resin.....can you do that with ANY resin..or only with the pebeo resin?? Those are very beautiful!!!

The purple and green coaster looks like dragon scale and the red coaster looks like a dragon starting to breathe fire!

Why do you light the resin on fire?

+CraftyMan126 ! I'm not actually lighting it on fire. The resin will have bubbles that rise to the surface. I use the lighter to pop the bubbles.
