+ManCraftingTM Kind of funny you mention that, I was looking at purchasing an acrylic stand, did a search, saw this one in acrylic and thought it would look so much better in wood. Plus, I'm displaying them in an acrylic case so that would have been to much transparent materials. Thanks for watching

Did you not consider turning a dowel on each end of the uprights, it would be a lot stronger than butt glue joint

+peter burley Hey Peter, I did think of that after the fact. Next ones will just have a dowel in each support, I won't turn them as I want these to stay simple and quick to make. Great thought and thanks for suggesting.
