Question.....Could you tell me proper way for offset in silhouette with cursive fonts. It takes out the center of letters

Thanks for the video...but I did see one recently that 1 copy of the text was created (not moved), then select both copies of text and combine. It worked flawlessly in his video and will be trying it myself. Thanks again 😀 EDIT: I tried to do what I had seen in another video as stated and was not able to recreate what was suggested...sorry that I hadn't tried it before commenting.
