I make phone charms too and I definitely have to try this! I have been interested in using links in my crafts and this will be fun to try. I little trick I use sometimes when using the jump rings..I dab a little crazy glue/super glue around the split part so it doesn’t open. So maybe you could try that too. This phone cases came out very cute!!

Mine doesn’t because the stud backings are pretty flat and presses into the jelly case rather than the phone

It seems to me that the screws don't screw in far enough to create a snug connection. Maybe a tiny washer or two would help tighten up the connection.

I find that it goes through the jelly case best. If used on other cases, I would super glue them on and it should work!
