It's been a million years since I posted this video. I have to agree, those comment bubbles ARE annoying, aren't they? Sorry. Any oil can be used. And to answer the question posted TWO years ago, I put all four layers on at once. Wet, then dry, wet, then dry, as many layers as I want to make the pinata as strong as I want. No dry time in between. And since making this video, I've also dropped the step of drying the newspaper before adding the final white layer. I just do it all at once and let the pinata dry just once before decorating. It's super fast. Thanks for watching!

+Heather House I have to agree that the comment bubbles are annoying! As soon as they kept popping up I thought 'Oh for goodness sake!' However, I am also grateful for the video. Many people have good intentions when posting, even if it's swapping some know how in exchange for some business exposure. We all learn from our mistakes and hopefully you will never produce a video with these again haha. It's sad that people have to be so directly critical without any gratitude for effort, but I suppose this is the risk of putting yourself out there. There will always be people who can only comment on the 'not so favourable' fruits of our labour! I hope business is going well for you.

I like the pop ups because they answer the silly little questions that people may have... like wht kind of oil... because some1 (me) probably otherwise would have asked in comment!

won't you have problems with mold when you add the oil on the balloon? or will the pinata still dry completely despite the added oil?

Yes, agree that comment bubbles are also annoying. REst of vid good tho! I can guarantee you that this pinata would not hold up for more than two or three whacks from a strong adult such as myself...
