Vicky Penn this is just depositing color, she didn’t use any developer (she used semi permanent dye) so basically it washes out in a couple weeks

As people have already said, use semi/demi perm color and not box dye. Crazy colors don't come perm so it should be fine, and colorful dye actually makes hair softer and healthier feeling. Colorful dye is the best thing to experiment with because it chat cause damage, and the only downside is it looking bad
