That came out SO good! I can imagine a couple of skelly's with eyepatches enjoying those around the haunt. And I love that you show us the mistakes too!

Those little jugs are so cute that you just want to make good use of them. They have a super tiny one maybe four inches tall maximum and I may someday make a teeny pirate jug of one.

Amazing. I think it needs a cork to hide the thin plastic walls.

If you glued that EVA foam down without the lacing and made it seamless I could see this as a old moon shine jug.
@PowerChordEPS2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking of what kind of pirate brik-a-brak I could add to my haunt being islander/pirate themed, this may do just the trick. Love the trick with the EVA foam and foil, I've done something years ago like that for cosplay when I needed some leather bracers Something I'd add to completely sell the look is see if I could find a cork to add to the top as opposed to keeping it open, or perhaps add some twine around the screw lip o hide it if you didn't want to cut it off.
@hollyingraham39802 жыл бұрын
The spout should probably be cut out to, to reduce the twist ofc top look. Now I have a use for my empties! These were usually pottery, not glass, rumfustian being such a cheap and lowdown drink. The bottom would be the colour of the clay, with glaze only used on the inside and around the top.

Nice and fairly simple. I think I might sand down the mold line on the jug before starting on the rest of the decor though.

That really looks great, Derek! Your channel has inspired me to create my first haunt this year. I just moved to a house off of a well-traveled road, and I don’t think we will have any trick-or-treaters since it’s not easily accessible. But I like the idea of creating a graveyard scene with lots of fun lighting and I’m going to put a couple hollusion ghosts in the yard for more of a drive-by haunt. Thanks for the great tutorials!

love it. might switch it up with a raven logo or something to use in our witch area. Large cork with one of those little skulls that come in a bag at dollar store, for a topper maybe. nicely done. and on a personal note, more than usual, started in august, I watch these videos on saturdays before I start working on the haunt.

@@VanOaksProps No offense. As I said, I thought the video was very well done and the result was great. I'm just sensitized to spotting mold edges from building miniatures, where they're much more distracting. But most people probably wouldn't even notice them :D
